Clove Bud has a warm, woody and spicy fragrance with a comforting, restorative effect and is a useful oil to have around the house. Best known for its analgesic properties, it is generally associated with dental preparations. Due to its strong antiseptic properties it can be used on burns, bruises, cuts and acne to keep infection at bay. Popular as a bath oil to warm and comfort the body after exposure to the cold.
Contraindications: Avoid during pregnancy. Do not use on children under 12 years. May cause skin irritation so do not use in baths.
