The Ajowan essential oil ( Trachyspermum ammi ) is 100% natural. It is obtained by steam distillation of the seed. This wild harvested plant come from India.
Ajowan Essential Oil has a peppery, thyme like aroma and is an excellent essential oil to use when fighting infection and has long been used as a carminative, helping with many digestive issues, alleviating pains due indigestion, flatulence and other types of infections. It is anti-infectious, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, antiseptic and anti-nausea. It is a bronchodilator, relaxing air passages and allowig more oxygen into the lungs. It can be used to ease sinus congestion, colds, coughs, and other respiratory problems and is also believed to be very toxic to a wide range of mould and fungi.
