In the myrtaceae family, Eucalyptus Globulus is tradionally used for the diseases of the lower respiratory tract.
Eucalyptus Globulus is commonly known as Eucalyptus or Blue Gum Oil and has a sharp, camphoraceous aroma. With its anti-viral, antiseptic and anti-bacterial action it is partucularly beneficial for coughs, colds and respiratory ailments. Its properties also make it useful for repelling insects and treating insect bites and stings. Can also be added to therapeutic massage blends for muscles and joints.

Contraindications: Avoid if you have high blood pressure. Not for use with children under 12 years.
