Cajeput is a penetrating oil with a sweet aroma and herbacious undertones and is known for its therapeutic properties, which include being analgesic, antiseptic, anti-spasmodic and a decongestant, expectorant, making it a perfect oil for the cold and flu season for combating infections such as colds, bronchitis and laryngitis. It is also known for its pain relieving properties for headaches ear-ache and tootheache. It is also used to ward off insect bites from lice and fleas and aid in skin conditions such as acne and psoriasis.
Contraindications: Non toxic, non irritant, possible sensitisation in some individuals.
